What to Bring to Your Appointment
Your adorable pup or purrito (aka cat)
An empty stomach!
A fresh fecal sample
Recommended for all new puppies/kittens and annual wellness exams. Need help collecting a sample?
A urine sample
Previous veterinary records
A cute photo of your pet!

The Check-In Process
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early
Reviewing your New Client Form
We will review your completed New Client Form to gain an initial understanding of your pet’s needs. Please complete the form online before you arrive for a smoother first visit!
Weigh-in process:
- Dogs: Weigh in at the front lobby scale.
- Cats: Weigh in the exam room on a smaller scale.
Your Pet’s Exam
A client service representative will escort you to a room, where one of our veterinary technicians will gather information about your pet.
Wellness Exam Questions:
- Do they go to boarding, grooming, or dog parks?
- If they’re a cat—indoor or outdoor?
- What food do they eat? (Brand, how much, how often?)
- What medications or supplements are they currently taking?
Sick Visit Questions:
- What symptoms are you seeing?
- When did they start?
- Any changes at home (diet, behavior, environment)?
- Have you given any medications?
After Your Pet’s Exam or Treatments:
- The veterinarian will discuss findings with you.
- Your technician will review any medications and guide you to check-out.
The Check-Out Process
Our client service representative will:
- Finalize your visit
- Book any needed follow-up appointments
- Provide copies of your pet’s records (or email them to you)
What Happens After Your Visit?
We’ll follow up after illness, treatments, or surgery as needed.
Diagnostic results (not reviewed in the exam room) will be texted or called to you within 48 hours, along with any vet recommendations.
