Dr. Brittany Kennedy

Growing up in Weldon Spring, Dr. Brittany Kennedy developed a passion for helping animals and always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Kennedy completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri with a major in Business prior to graduating from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked as an associate veterinarian, a relief veterinarian, and a practice owner before joining Pet Pals Animal Hospital in 2024. She was selected to the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association’s Power of 10 (a group of 10 veterinarians in the State of Missouri who are identified as emerging leaders in the industry). She is currently chairman of the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association New Graduate Forum, which provides guidance to new graduate veterinarians. She is passionate about providing thorough and state-of-the-art veterinary care to her patients and forming life-long relationships with her clients. In her free time, Dr. Kennedy can be found traveling, gardening, hiking, watercolor painting, and enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Dr. Chris Kennedy

Dr. Chris grew up in Colorado Springs and earned a biochemistry degree from Queens University of Charlotte, where he also played on the tennis team. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, where he met his wife, Dr. Brittany. He went on to complete a post-doctoral internship at the University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Before joining Pet Pals in 2024, Dr. Chris worked as an associate veterinarian, a traveling relief vet across St. Louis, and a practice owner. He’s known for his thorough care, strong client communication, and lasting relationships with pet parents. His clinical interests include dentistry, ophthalmology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and mentoring students.

Outside of work, Dr. Chris enjoys tennis, water skiing, traveling, playing saxophone, and being active in his church community.

Catherine

Catherine

Catherine volunteered at Pet Pals at the age of 16 in 1998 and has been here ever since. She completed 2 years of college at the University of Missouri, Saint Louis. “What I love most about working at Pet Pals is the wonderful people and pets that you form relationships with.” During her free time, she enjoys spending time relaxing with her husband and two kids, who are very active in school sports. Catherine is very busy with her kids and pets, and enjoys summer vacations exploring new states and countries.

Amy

Amy

Amy recently joined Pet Pals Animal Hospital as our part-time receptionist. She has been a volunteer at TREE House Equine-Assisted Therapy in Wentzville and fostered cats and kittens for St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center. Drawn by her love of animals and community service, Amy began working as a veterinary receptionist in 2023. Her positive attitude and kind personality help both clients and patients have a great visit. At home, Amy enjoys gardening and relaxing with her family and two dogs.

Courtney

Courtney

Courtney began her love for animals when she was a child, and she knew it would be the career field she would be following. She first started her journey as a kennel assistant, which gave her a taste of veterinary medicine since 2019. Courtney started at Pet Pals in October of 2024 and has loved it since. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, 2 dogs (Bonnie and Bandit), and 1 cat (Twilight). She is looking forward to her future at Pet Pals and to building relationships with clients and patients.

Amber

Amber

Amber has been with Pet Pals since 2018. He had a variety of animal-related jobs, including grooming, dog training, and working at an animal shelter. Amber has a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Ecology, and loves animals of all kinds, especially turtles. She likes to spend time with her husband, 3 kids, and a variety of pets in her free time.

Tiffany

Tiffany

Having grown up on a rural farm, it was a given that Tiffany would work with animals. She started in the field at a mixed-species hospital in 1998 and never looked back. Over the years, she has grown to love surgery and dentistry. “I always treat each pet as if it were my own when they are here for a procedure/care.”

August graduated in 2018 from Hickey College, where she earned her Associate’s degree in Applied Animal Science. Her positive attitude and energetic personality make clients and patients feel right at home. “I LOVE surgery, emergency medicine, and creating that bond with clients so that they feel comfortable with anything and everything that has to do with their pets.”

Ashley, RVT

Ashley, RVT

Ashley graduated from Hickey College in 2013 with a specialized associate degree in veterinary technology and became a Licensed Registered Veterinary Technician in 2015. She has a strong passion for surgery and exotics. Outside of work, she enjoys all sorts of crafts, playing video games, reading, and being an active member of her church.
